Footnote: Me and him? We were never/aren't now/never will be compatible enough to make any sort of relationship work. I am most (in)famous for saying over and over again (for our entire 6 year relationship) that we spent more time trying to make things work than we spent in times that worked. For that I am grateful. We both learned more in those 6 years than we may learn in a lifetime. He is incredibly happy in his life right now, and so I am. We are friends. Just like he always wanted to be, for that? I am also grateful.

Sadly, the story ends there. We still talk, often. He's still (HAPPILY) married. He's still my one I would always go back to.

How well does this story end? If it were a movie, would I want to watch it? Or would it make me sad?

Guess I'll just have to keep reading the series!
